About

Eleanor Ee is a theatre-maker, actor, puppeteer, mover and drama educator based in Singapore.

As an artist, Eleanor is passionate about creating works that explore forming deeper connections between humans and the world around us. She is also interested in questioning identity, traditions and the structures that have been created around us, and their relevance today.

She graduated from the University of Exeter (UK) with an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Drama in 2018. She has performed at international festivals such as the T3 Festival (Exeter, UK) and the IH Drama Festival (Brisbane, Australia), performing works such as Aftermath and The Visit.

Since returning to Singapore, she has co-created and performed with several theatre companies including Sourcing Within, David Glass Ensemble, Method Productions, World-In-Theatre, Grain Performance & Research Lab, Izaara Creative Productions and more. She has trained and performed as part of the Sourcing Within Ensemble led by Ang Gey Pin, and was part of the 2022 cohort of Young & W!ld.

Recently, she has also been exploring both teaching and creating for young audiences. This desire led her to co-create a collective, Warble, Warble, the Wild is in Trouble!, which came together to create works for young audiences that use the imagination of theatre and play to explore themes relating to nature and nature conservation.
